Beginning on March 2, the City will introduce a new recycling schedule, will separate the City into two separate recycling zones, Zone "A" and Zone "B", with U.S. Highway 80 being the separating line. The recycling zones (link to map) will alternate pick-ups each week.  Zone "A" will begin recycling collection on March 2 and Zone "B" will be first collected on  March 9. Zone "A" will then be picked up again on  March 16 and Zone "B" on March 23 and so forth.  When delivered, the new recycling carts will have new program information and a schedule attached to the carts.  Residents have the option to keep the old green recycling bins for personal use at no added cost.  To dispose of the green recycling bins residents may place the bins at the curb or inside their new recycling cart for CWD to collect on their first new recycling service day.
