How to Pay

The City of Forney offers the following methods to pay a citation:
  • In person: Anytime Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. please note that we are closed for lunch daily 12pm - 1pm at the Municipal Court Building at the Forney Justice Center located at:

All payment plans require a deposit of not less than $50 per case (unless otherwise approved) and you must have an official ID or driver's license or passport. If requesting by mail, you must complete a time payment application packet (PDF) and mail it in along with a copy of your ID and a down payment of not less than $50 per case. 

If you are convicted of an offense and are unable to pay the fine and costs, you may have the court assess your ability to pay and the court my provide alternatives to full payment in satisfying the judgment.

Please be aware that not all violations may be paid online, some will require your appearance in court or payment must be made in the Municipal Court Clerk's Office as additional paperwork will be required.

Deferral Information

Got a ticket? Save time by going online to set up your deferred or driver safety today.

If your citation qualifies for driver safety or deferral, you will be able to select those options along with making a full payment or entering your plea of not guilty online.
