Family-Fun Wednesdays are back at the Wetland Center

Summer Family Fun Day Website

While your children are excited that summer is just around the corner, you may be having a hard time finding activities for them during the summer months. The John Bunker Sands Wetland Center in Seagoville, 655 Martin Lane, recently announced their schedule of Family-Fun Wednesdays beginning on June 12. The family-fun days each focus on a different aspect of either wildlife or our habitat, with an interactive twist. Classes this year include “Under the Water’s Surface: On the Hunt for Macros – Collect and Learn about the critters in the wetland”, “Kids Survival Basics 2.0”, “Complex Leaves for a Complex World: Discover the many shapes of a leaf”, and so many more. Classes are from 10 a.m. to noon and cost $6 per child and parents are free. Preregistration is required. For more information about the classes, please visit www.wetlandcenter.org or call (972)474.9100.
